Swami Vivekananda was the revolutionary Monk of the mother India who motivated every one. He became the flame of Inspiration to the demoralized Hindu mind at the time of British Rule. Swami Vivekananda Influenced the reawakening of Hindu Dharma as well as Mother India.
Still after Independence his though motivated many people for the rebuilding of Bharat. His call to the Hindus is to forget all God and Goddess and Worship mother land as God and so worship her with the mission “Service to Mankind is service to Divinity.”
After the Great set back from China war in 1962, celebration of Hundredth birth centenary of swami Vivekananda gave new inspiration again. Out of it came a magnificent Vivekananda Rock Memorial at the feet of Mother India at Kanayakuamari. Establishment of Rock Memorial was a unique all India Movement under the Guidance of Shri Eknathji Ranande.
He gave mission to Bharat to conquer the world with spirituality and Indian values like love, peace, harmony and universal brotherhood.
His influence was first seen in world then in India. His message to the world was of Universal brotherhood. In his famous Chicago speech he says," Sectarianism, bigotry, and it’s horrible descendant, fanaticism, have long possessed this beautiful earth. They have filled the earth with violence, drenched it often and often with human blood, destroyed civilisation and sent whole nations to despair. Had it not been for these horrible demons, human society would be far more advanced than it is now. But their time is come; and I fervently hope that the bell that tolled this morning in honour of this convention may be the death - knell of all fanaticism, of all persecutions with the sword or with the pen, and of all uncharitable feelings between persons wending their way to the same goal.”
Year 2013 is the 150th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Now we are again at the paradigm Shift with the economical and technological growth of India is now influencing the world. We are on the road of becoming a great developed country. Here again we required a motivation. 150th Birth Anniversary celebration can be the event of motivation for all of us.
Real mission of India is to become the Jagad Guru and to spread the gospel of love, peace and universal brotherhood throughout the world. The year 2013 can be one of the best opportunities to do this.
